About This Item
Harper & Brothers. Fair. 1858. Leather. Volume I in Fair condition; Volume II is Good to Good Plus. Binding on both volumes is fairly solid. Pages are only slightly tanned, but foxed occasionally (especially on tissue protective papers of Volume I). A few pencil notes in both volumes. Foldout illustrations at front of both volumes -- complete but a little fragile, and Volume I's is a little raggedy at fore-ede.. Ex-libris plates in both, and Volume I has residue on front free endpage, from some paper glued there. Embossed leather covers have wear to edges, with boards showing at bottom corners of Volume I. On both volumes, tops of spine tips are frayed. Spine titles legible (but Volume II moreso). .
