About This Item
Image of actual book: Ex-library book with DJ in fair condition. Hardcover with normal card holder, stamps, stickers, markings, and writing. Pages are clean. Tight binding with sharp corners. DJ in protective clear Mylar cover. Cover has normal rubbing and bumping. Very minor bumping on the top, spine, edges, corners. Pages deckled. Outer edges have some tanning, tanning, browning, stains, foxing and some markings. This is a powerful novel of a man in conflict, no longer able to reconcile the deceptions he has practiced in his public life and private affairs. As he strips off the vestiges of his former existence, it becomes a costly, dangerous process. The woman he loves slips away from him; he stumbles into a bloody intrigue and finds himself a hunted man. 1970. T4.
