New York: Valiant House, 1938. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. See photos for condition details. Thick hardcover, blue cloth boards show scuffing and faded spots along with some toning and other spots. The spine is a bit sunned and the reason the condition grade was lowered to just "good" is because there is a tear at the top of the spine which measures just over 1.25 inches. The remaining portions of the book grades as VG. The internal binding is good, no hinge issues. No signatures or bookplates, no library markings, nothing on the inside torn or loose. The text pages are clean though they do show toning along the edges. Both pastedowns and opposite end pages show quite a bit of foxing spots in the front end page shows faint evidence of a price once penciled in the corner. No other handwriting found.
