New yrok: Vanguard Press, 1927 Gray cloth; red title and spine lettering; illustrated endpapers. Second printing; first thus edition 1926. "Imperialism" (1916) examines the economic nature of imperialism, "the characteristic feature of our era," which he calls "the eve of Socialist revolution."
"The State and Revolution" (1917) is about the teachings of Marx andEngels on the State and a criticism of the distortion of these teachings by the "opportunists." Heavy rubbing and fraying to cover extremities; spine darkened. Moderate cover soil. Underlining and marginalia pp. 113-131. Interior otherwise clean and intact.
