New York: American Art Union, 1849. Hardcover. Very Good. Felix O. C. Darley. Two large oblong volumes 12" X15" bound together in red buckram binding. Each volume consists of a 10 pages of text followed by six full-page line engravings. Copyright pages says permission of Irving and his publisher was obtained by the Committee of Management of the American Art Union to issue the volumes. Rubber stamp of Century Library on titlepage and two illustration margins. Two illustrations spotted with foxing.
