Katowice: Polskie Towarzystwo Fotograficzne, Oddział w Katowicach, 1951. First edition. Softcover. vg- to vg. Octavo. 8x6". 24pp. Beige wrappers with back lettering on the front cover. The booklet is a catalog for the photography exhibition held November 22nd - December 9th in Katowice, Poland. The exhibition was sponsored by the Polish Photographic Society and was one of a number of publications produced for similarly organized events by the society, held in various Polish cities in the 1950s. The catalog lists a total of 144 photographs exhibited at the event and a short introduction by the manager of the Katowice branch of the society, discussing the new generation of modern photography in Poland. The catalog is illustrated by 6 b/w reproductions of photographs displayed at the exhibition.

Text in Polish.

Wrappers with some light smudges and stains. Interior with some light smudges, and some minor age toning to the pages. Images unaffected. Wrappers in very good-, interior in very good condition overall. Protected by modern mylar.
