New York: The Alcestis Press, 1935. First edition. Paperback. Near Fine. First edition, one of 165 copies signed by Stevens. Book is very near fine, offseting on the back inside blanks from a newspaper articles having been laid in, tiny nick on one corner. Paper covers and contents near fine and very fresh, not yellowed. An attractive copy of a fragile book. (Note that the slight darkened spots on the spine are where the cloth string binding is flush to the paper, causing some transfer, not soiled.) Housed in a beautiful custom slipcase (book in chemise, chemise in a sliding two-part case), quarter morocco over blue cluth. Edelstein A 2.a. Lacking the unprinted glassine.
