London: A.H. Bullen, 1903. An early anthology with nineteen essays by Ireland's Nobel winner. This is a Very Good (Plus) copy of the Second Edition [stated]. Wade 46 (p.61). the first issue was in paper-covered boards; this in blue ribbed cloth binding with titling in gilt on the spine and front cover. Clean text; vii, 341 pages; fore and bottom pages are rough-cut. One essay has a bit of pencil underlining. There are two previous-owner signatures [dated 1909 & 1971] on the FFEP. Some minor rubbing to the margins. A very respectable copy indeed. In an archival plastic protector.. Second Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good (Plus)/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
