Includes an introduction by Archibald MacLeish. With Nash's whimsical drawings at chapter heads and indices of first and last lines at rear of volume. --- In ivory cloth-covered boards w/Nash drawing in gilt on cover, titling in red and gilt on spine. Dust jacket repeats the Nash cover drawing. --- Several poems are marked in pencil, boards are just slightly splayed and with a hint of soiling to cloth, otherwise a firm, clean copy. Unclipped dust jacket with a small tear to top edge, lightly sunned spine and protected in removable mylar wrapper.; Tall Octavo (9 to 10 in. tall) ; xxiii, 407 pages .
