The prequel to this work titled 'Cider with Rosie' was very popular and detailed his early life. In the publisher's original cloth with the original clipped dust wrapper. Synopsis

The author leaves the security of his Cotswold village in Gloucestershire to start a new life, at the same time embarking on an epic journey by foot.
