NO tears. NO creases. NO fading. Sharp corners. "First Edition" is so stated, with number row (23456789) centered on the copyright page, indicating that a "1" was never present (as explained in McBride's GUIDE TO THE IDENTIFICATION OF FIRST EDITIONS). Pages are clean and unmarked -- apparently never read. The author taught horsemanship at Waldemar Camp for girls, and was inducted into the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame in 1997. Her husband, Jack Reeves was a professional rodeo cowboy. They managed 3 ranches for Lyndon Baines Johnson. Illustrated with 14 pages of photos. Bound in the original red boards, stamped in bright gold on the spine. Complete with dust jacket.. First Edition (so stated). Hardcover.
