New York: Harper & Bros, 1927. Later printing. Very Good. Hardcover in grass green cloth. Inscribed by the author on the front free endpaper. 571 pp. with index. Illustrated. Reminiscences of journalist Henry L. Stoddard whose particular specialty was politics and political campaigns from the Civil War through the early decades of the 20th century. His first major coverage was that of U.S. Grant and he was on particularly close terms with Theodore Roosevelt. Very good, even soiling to the cloth. No jacket.
