Florence: Giunta Barbera. Very Good with no dust jacket. 1985. Limited Edition. Leather. A limited edition of 998 of which this is 452. An oversized folio leather clam-shell box, with an explanatory booklet of 103 pages, and with 50 leaves with facsimiles of Leonardo's and his circles work, beautifully printed recto and verso on handmade paper. The works of Leonardo -- including his earliest known drawing -- and of his circle, collected at the Uffizi in Florence. Includes 11 drawings by the master himself, as well as 39 by his students. The works are in pen and ink, chalk, pencil, and silver-point. Condition is very good. The handsome leather box has minor scuffs and shelf wear, the prints are clean and lovely and of beautiful uality. OCLC 908554359; Folio 13" - 23" tall .
