Larger, heavy gray wrappers with black lettering lightly soiled overall, 240 lightly browned pages plus brief biographical note. Includes a typed letter signed from Charles Elliott, Senior Editor at Alfred Knopf to Texan novelist William Humphrey, asking him to review the book on hunting, three-line business stamp at bottom of inside back wrapper. Light crease at bottom front tip, micronick at spine bottom right edge. Near Very Good.
