About This Item
Second Printing, Fine minus, unread bookwith touch of shelf wear and slight crimps at spine ends; in a Near Fine jacket that has light edge and corner wear and touches of very light rubbing. Collins bestselling novel of a future, post-apocalyptic country that has harsh policies and practices. The 2012 movie starring Jennifer Lawrence was a huge, blockbuster success. With the help of fellow tribute Peeta Mellark, Katniss must fight to survive the brutal and deadly competition while defying the Capitol's oppressive regime.he Hunger Games is a thrilling and thought-provoking novel that explores themes of power, oppression, and the human will to survive.
Reviews
I feel this is a very overrated series. If Gale was a GAIL nobody would care about it. It also focused way too much on the violence.
This is a wonderful, exciting read full of suspense and will have you staying up all night reading it. I love this book. It shows me another world.
Easy read, great story. Now I have to read the next one!
Amazing story that makes you very involved in the book. Great characters.
