Toronto: Clarke, Irwin & Company Limited, 1966. Quarto. Original blue cloth; accompanied by matching 1/4 cloth portfolio. Both in matching paper covered slipcase. Limitation to verso of half title 865/1000; photograph frontis. Illustrated with tipped in colour plates; further 12 plates loose in portfolio. A lovely set, beautifully illustrated and printed on rag paper and in fine condition Limited edition of the published journals. Carr notes in the preface that "Hundreds and Thousands are minute candies made in England- round sweetnesses, all colours and so small that separately they are not worth eating". 1966
