Igor Sikorsky who was the major inventor of the helicopter and most of its modifications in the early part of the 20th century has written a full-page message on the helicopter. This book gives an interesting picture of "The How of the Helicopter". The reader will find how man-made machines are able to fly; and how the helicopter can fly directly upward, straight ahead, or hover in one place in the ari, move backward, forward oror in circles. Bound in a red flexible pictorial cloth depicting a helicoper in black with black lettereing, spine plain, very nice in unclipped pictorial dust jacker with some chipping along the edges. A very nice copy.
