Paperback narrow tall octavo, good condition, thin card covers (rear cover repaired), new red cloth binding top edge (holes punched through binding, thin red cord for hanging), front cover lightly soiled & toned, light foxing edges & few pages, corners repaired last page, corner tips front cover & few pages missing, few small stains some pages, pages lightly toned, light creases some pages, rear cover little creased & marked, some edgewear, minor annotation one page. 59 pp. This wonderful old well-loved cookbook was very successful when it was first published, and the Kent Town Branch of the South Australian Country Women's Association have published this 6th edition. This edition has a supplement being a collection of new recipes. They received many expressions of appreciation of the collection of recipes. Includes a supplement and an index to assist with finding a recipe. The recipes are arranged so that each season of the year has the recipes most suited to it. This is a great book to add to any collection of heritage cookbooks. SCARCE.
