Very Good/Good. 1st Printing First Edition per same date on title page and copyright page and no other printings noted. Hardcover in very good condition. Front end papers show map of European Russia, back end papers show map of Asiatic Russia. Front free end paper is stamped with words ""Return to Health Center Library"" but no other indications of usual ex-library markings such as pockets, etc. Top edge of text block stained red. Text block clean & tight with no writings, markings, underlining, etc, noted. Mellow age toning to the papers. Dust jacket in good condition light shelf & edge wear and with mellow age toning to the white background. Spine of jacket very sun faded where red lettering of title was (see photes.) Not price clipped. 562 numbered pages. * The 43 years referred to in sub-title are 1917-1960.
