Dent and Sons LTD, 1966. 180 pp. Mysterious happenings at a remote house in cornwall, a sinister dictator and an intimidating uncle, the wits of four children pitted against those of any number of grown-ups- these are the ingredients that go to make up a most lively and exciting tale. Dust jacket has a few pulls and scuffs, pull from removal of spine label., quite bright and clean except spine has fading of title, looks great in new plastic cover. Price clipped. Library binding is bright and clean. Evidence of adhesive on front and back free endpapers. Pocket in back has been removed. Discard has been printed on title page in black pen. library stamp on title page has been blacked out. No other library stamps have been noticed. Text is very nice, clean and unmarked.. Reprint. HC and DJ. Fair - Good/Fair - Good. Illus. by D. L. Mays. 7 3/4 x 5 1/4. Ex-Library.
