Ward, Lock & Co, 1946. Reprint . Hardcover. Very Good/Good. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. 286pp plus publisher's adverts bound in at rear. Bluey-green publisher's cloth boards (faded at edges, rounded on corners and spine ends, very slightly cocked). Lending sheet on front end paper, else no other library markings. Internally neat and clean, barring dusty edges. In its original, vintage dust jacket (rubbed and worn all over, cracking around folds, minor loss at crumbled spine ends). Dust jacket now in archival-quality mylar wrapper to protect & prolong the life of the jacket. It is not adhered to the book or to the jacket. Seventh book in Dornford Yate's Berry series.
