About This Item
London : Constable, 1985. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. First edition first printing. Hardback book is tight clean and square. Boards sharp and clean. Text block clean, and white. Feels lightly read. The pages are crisp and unmarked. Near Fine condition. The Jacket has small rubs to the edges and the spine ends have a touch of rubbing, and there is some very gentle creasing to the panels. Overall a near fine copy. For grading accuracy books are photographed without a protective book cover. Note we do not use stock images, the book pictured is the book described. A near fine example of this title, which goes behind the scenes of the Unipart calendar shoot for 1984. The first two thirds feature the text by Jilly Cooper, from her diaries, and the behind the scenes images which are in black and white. The final third features Lichfield's almost haunting colour images (nudes in large bleak landscapes) some of which were used in the calendar.
