NY: Doubleday Doran & Co. . VG+. 1944. 2nd Edition. Hardcover. Second edition published a year after the first edition and bound in d ark blue cloth with gold spine lettering. A VG+ copy in a Very Good du st jacket. Rubs at the head and heel of the spine and at the corners. Dust soiling to the edges of the upper page block. The dust jacket has small chips/tears to its spine tips and corners. The rear panel is du st soiled and has small tears at its upper edge. One tear at the front panel's lower edge. The jacket is not price clipped and has the origi nal $2.50 price on the inner front sleeve. .
