An account of the life on the cattle frontiers of the Western hemisphere, together with an enlightening discussion of the amazingly rich literature that has grown up around these popular heroes, the South American gaucho, the Mexican charro and out own cowboy. 149pp., bound in brown and white cloth decorated like cowhide, spine lettering brown, a fine bright copy in near fine unclipped pictorial dust jacket lightly rubbed around the edges. Very nice.
