(Cinema One, no. 12) Series (B&W photographs) One of the more interesting and influential works in the excellent "Cinema One" series, with insightful readings of the genre work of three directors whose films continue to command attention from cineastes. Includes filmographies. Also issued in paperback; the hardcover printing is fairly uncommon. [NOTE that the bookplate on the front pastedown identifies the book as having been part of the Arthur Knight Collection at the University of Southern California Library, and also bears a "USC DISCARD" stamp; there are no other library markings, internally or externally.] .
