Roger Senhouse (1899-1970) was a publisher and translator on the fringes of the Bloomsbury Group, the last lover of Lytton Strachey. Senhouse took over Ransome's publisher Martin Secker in 1935 when the firm was in receivership and with Frederic Warburg founded Secker & Warbug, noted for being the publisher of George Orwell's books from 1938.
