New York: Grosset & Dunlap, 1943. First edition, wartime edition, listing to no. 22 Twin Playmates on the dustjacket flap. Red hardcover printed in black, black and white frontis illustration, pictorial endpapers printed in blue, colorful dustjacket with a Halloween theme. The book has light rubbing to the extremities, good hinges, sound text block, age-toned but clean pages, Girl Scout themed bookplate on the front free endpaper with a name neatly written at the bottom, no other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped [70-100] and is in very good condition with light shelf soil to the white background, light edgewear, tiny chip at upper corner of front panel.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
