Light yellow endpapers. A few light spots of foxing to outer edges of textblock and scattered scarcely within. In black and pink dust jacket, not price clipped. Jacket shows some light wear near edges (with subtle creasing and small closed tears). Slight foxing to inner flaps. A near fine copy in nice jacket. near fine Wells Society # 134. "This novel forecasts the advent of the world state. It includes Wells's most thorough indictment of the phenomenon of fascism.". 1939
