Light shelf wear to edges and with some light handling marks to boards. Some foxing throughout. 246pp 21cm x 14cm approx. The authors travels through Utkala, now forming the northern and eastern part of the Indian State of Odisha, which had significant religious significance The book also covers a little religious folk lore and appreciations of native character. The author and his wife were Christian Missionaries in India at the beginning of the twentieth century. Illustrated with black and white plates plus map.
