Oxford, Printed at the Clarendon Press, by Dawson, Bensley, and Cooke, printers to the university, 1799. . 12mo (14 x 8 cm); ownership inscriptions in pen to front free endpapers, old bookseller label to front pastedown, NT title-page; contemporary red morocco, double gilt-ruled, stars in corner-pieces, gilt spine in five compartments, all edges gilt, corners and edges slightly rubbed, a few nicks to spine, but head and tail caps intact, and internally very clean, a handsome copy.
A sweet King James pocket bible from the turn of the nineteenth century, in a beautiful red morocco gilt binding, with two early female ownership inscriptions.
