Oxford: The University Press, 1892. Leather. Good. 7" by 4.5". None. A very neat edition of the Holy Bible at the gift of Sir John Fenner to the Parish of Bermondsey. Illustrated with twelve coloured maps to the rear. The Holy Bible containing the Old and New Testaments to which are appended notes analytical, chronological, historical, and geographical, an index, concordance, dictionary of scripture, and a compendium of scripture natural history. Gilt detail to the front board reading 'The gift of Sir John Fenner to the Parish of Bermondsey, 1633.' In the original full black morocco binding with gilt and bright metal clasp. Externally, very smart with light rubbing to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with the odd spot to the endpapers. Contemporary inscriptions to the front endpaper. Good
