Self published, no place, 1904. Edition Unstated. Hardcover (Half Leather). Very Good Condition/No Dust Jacket. MICHAEL TOMKINSON. Hokusai, Master of the Japanese Ukiyo-ye School of Painting, no place: privately printed, 1904. Tall, thin quarto, unpaginated with 3 pages of introduction signed in pencil by Tomkinson, 6 color plates, pink cloth boards half-bound in maroon morocco with gilt-stamped lettering on front, deckled edges. The prints are from drawings in Tomkinson's collection with themes from the "Hundred Poets." Condition of this book: Covers rubbed at extremities, soiled. Prints fine. Size: Quarto. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. All edges clean, neat and free of foxing.
