Original Watercolour by marine artist G.Sidney James of HMS Vengeance, Colossus Class Light Aircraft Carrier, built for the Royal Navy by Swan Hunter and launched 23rd Feb. 1944. Loaned to the Royal Australian Navy 1952-1955. Brazilian Navy as Nael Minas Gerais 1956-2001 She had a service life of over 55 years. From the collection of Rear Admiral Humfrey John Bradley Moore (1898-1985) late of Ightham in Kent. Frame size 330x405mm
