New York: George Virtue, 1856. Rebound in red buckram, stamped in gold. Ex-lib copy with numbers on spine and pocket at rear of books and a few stamps -- but certainly not too distracting. W.H. Bartlett travelled to the U.S. in the 1830's-1840's and was known as an illustrator. This book was completed by B.B. Woodward. Many great steel engravings (all appear to be present). 608 pp., 720 pp., 720 pp. The binding and the pages are in well above average condition. A most handsome set!. Later Printing. Hard Cover. VG+/No Jacket.
