Dark red cl. with gilt sp. lettering, clean and minimally worn, but a c. 5 cm spine ripple with slight pigment loss. xiii + 422 = (12, pub .notices and list); end-papers tanned, rear one heavily enough to have become fragle with top outer corner and outer edge both chipped, fr. paste-down has large heraldic plate of Glucster Constitution Club with 1911 donation information to bottom, donor's original sig. and location top fr. end-paper + 2 oval blue Consitional Club stamps, no further lib. marks and otherwise internally clean and tight, further tanning to half-title edges and, more faintly, to t.p., both end-gutters incipiently cracking. A very good working/referenc copy of this important work. !st ed. 1893, this 'two additional sections'. Slipped in 4 pp. publisher's flier listing Cannan's books on economics inc. the 4th imp. of the 3rd edition of this one, so presumably from a few years later. 15 cm x 22 cm
