Tips, spine, spine ends, and edges are heavily bumped and rubbed. former owner name and date on front endpaper. Both pastedowns, all endpapers and first and last several pages are toned along the edges and have chipping along the foredge. Many pages have some underlining and marginalia in pencil. Edges of endpapers are toned. Tips of pages are bumped and have light creases. . First English Language Edition. Leather. Poor/No Dust Jacket.
