London: Printed for B. & J. White, 1793. Third Edition.<br/> <br/> Pennant was a British naturalist and writer. This work was begun as a synopsis in 1771, and then expanded into the first edition of this History, which became a highly popular work with finely engraved plates. Freeman 2960. Wood 1793.<br/> <br/>
