Full leather binding, black spine label with gilt lettering, illustrations include map and guarded portraits, includes Muster-Out Roll by regiment at rear. Unsigned presentaton inscription on front free endpaper reads "Presented to his wife by the author". ; 6 x 9"; 723 pp; Leather worn with thinned area on front board, small strip of leather missing from edge of inside of front board, bottom 1/2" of spine lacking exposing the signatures, headband, etc. Hinges remain strong, the binding remains quite functional. Internally quite nice, with little wear and only occasional light foxing, some foxing and wear to tissue guards.. .

Items which fit in one of the Medium Flat Rate Boxes can ship for the standard expedited charge, regardless of weight.
