About This Item
Published 1930 by J. M. Dent and E. P. Dutton. Edited by Georg Kinsky with the co-operation of Robert Haas, Hans Schnoor and other experts and with an introduction by Eric Blom. This copy was bound by Sangorski & Sutcliffe of London in acid free leather and is flexibly hand sewn. Printed on gloss paper, head and tail bands and one silk ribbon marked which is worn and split. Leather cover as shown with this listing has five raised bands on the spine, gilt stamping on spine only. The cover is rubbed, scuffed and worn in places but the hand sewn binding is firm. Decorative endpapers with gilt-ruled board edges on front and back boards, gilt edges. Some spotting to text, see photos. A rare copy and despite its minor flaws is a thing of beauty, hansome addition to any book collection. Your purchase helps our small public library. pi (A3)
