Residue from library card pocket to front pastedown endpaper. No library stamps, labels etc. elsewhere. Scattered foxing and some marks to text, a few pencilled margin markings. Original leading blank has been retained showing a previous owner's name and address and also a stamp from the Lace Research Association. Inscribed by the author to half title page: 'Revd. Mr. Edwards with the author's kind regards'. A solid example of the scarce first printing. Overall condition is Good.
