BASICALLY CLEAN BROWN CLOTH BOARDS WITH SLIGHT WEAR, CORNERS NEITHER BUMPED NOR WORN, TWO TINY CHIPS NEAR TOPS. INTERIOR HAS VERY OCCASIONAL FOXING, BUT VAST MAJORITY IS CLEAN AND TIGHT, WITH PAGES OF LAST THREE VOLUMES UNCUT, SO NEVER READ. NO WRITING OR MARKS, ALTHOUGH IT APPEARS SOMETHING WAS ERASED IN VOLUME 1 ONLY. ALL IN ALL, A VERY NICE SET OF A SCARCE WORK.
