NY, NY: D. Appleton & Company, 1903. (1st American edition). Hardbound. GOOD+. Tight binding, lightly age tanned pages, sunned spine, light age soil to exterior, a few tick marks and neat margin notes in the beginning pages, slight tilt to spine. Exterior page edges are gilt on top and rough cu on side and bottom. Top and bottom of spine covering are softened and chipped. Cover corners are rubbed to boards and curled inward. All 24 color plates are present - the frontispiece still has tissue in place. 4.5x7x1", 251 pages. " A Comic Poem by the author (William Combe 1741-1823) of The Three Tours of Dr. Syntax with 24 Coloured (satirical)illustrations by Thomas Rowlandson.
