Tear at spine edge, green marbled endpapers, front hinge cracked, pages tanned at edges else VG. 553 pp. including index. Gives sublime and tragic history of the Jews -- the patriarchs, heroes and men of God of 3,000 years; author hoped to end hostilities against the Jewish race with this book, which unfortunately did not quite happen.
