In a prize binding from Prince Edward's School.Part of the Biographical Edition of the works of Thackeray. 'The History of Henry Esmond' tells the story of the eponymous character, who was a colonel for Queen Anne, during the time of the English Restoration. Spine is a little faded and rubbed, with a very small amount of loss to the head. Some minor marks to the boards. Front hinge is starting but firm.
