Akron, OH: Werner Co, 1909. First. Hard Cover. VG++. Beautiful scarlet and gold binding./None.. The battery served in the Army of the Potomac nearly the whole War. At Antietam it set up near the Dunkard Church and fired over 200 rounds into the neighboring woods (West Woods). This battery did yeoman service defending the Peach Orchard on the second day at Gettysburg. They were also involved in battering the flank of Pickett's men on day three.
