John C. Yorston & Co., New York, Cincinnati, Chicago, 1889. 3 Volumes: 11" X 7.75" in marbled boards with red leather corners and spines. All edges gilt. The outward condition of these volumes can only be described as deplorable. They are heavily rubbed and abraded along edges; hinges are in various stages of weakness, with the front cover of volume I entirely detached. There is some writing inside the front cover of each Volume: POOR condition. However, the contents are still in nice condition - clean and tight. Many engraved portraits. 380/374/699pp.. Hardcover. Poor/No Jacket.
