Steel engravings are: Mirabeau; Talleyrand; The Emperor and Empress of the French at Windsor Castle; Castle of Chinon, Indre-et-Loir; Throne Room, Fontainbleau; Gallery of Henry II, Fontainbleau.

Glossary
Some terminology that may be used in this description includes:

- The outer portion of a book which covers the actual binding. The spine usually faces outward when a book is placed on a shelf....
- BDS
- Common term for the covers of a hardbound book. The term 'boards' refers to the thick cardboard under the paper or cloth...
- Fair
- is a worn book that has complete text pages (including those with maps or plates) but may lack endpapers, half-title, etc....
- Hinge
- The portion of the book closest to the spine that allows the book to be opened and closed.
