Index of names but without accompanying page numbers. 16 chapters plus appendix of biographies. Preliminary page folds out & is "Family of Dan Thomas." Chapters include "Indians in Northwest Iowa 1854-1880", "Coming of the Railroad", etc. The bound wrappers have clear plastic covers & the back one has a short tear (to plastic only). Near fine. Rare.
