Chicago: Warner, Beers & Co., 1886. In three parts: 132, 588, 516 pages, including one color folding map, one folding relief map, and numerous engraved portraits. In addition to the writing of Bates, some sections of the book were written by P. A. Durant, J. Fraise Richard, Bennett Bellman, H. C. Bradsby, Aaron Sheely, and M. A. Leeson. The book is clean and tight, with some foxing limited to margins of only those plates that have tissue guards; the exterior has some rubbing along edges and fading of color on the leather spine.. First Edition. Hardcover. Collectible-Very Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Book.
