Prospectus and order forms for Wilson's two books (History of Crisfield, and Crisfield Maryland 1686-1976) laid in. From the prospectus: "This book portrays Crisfield from a tiny farming village in the 1600s through a lawless, rip-roaring, hell raising community reminiscent of the old west, caused by the coming of the railroad and by the Cheasapeake Bay oyster bonanza after the Civil War. Crisfield became home port for numerous oyster fleets. Consequently, saloons, bawdy houses, hotels, boarding and eating establishments were plentiful.
